Have You Signed Up For “CodeRED”?

If there was a local emergency, how would you find out about it? Facebook? Waiting for the morning paper?

logo-CR-keepingcitizensinformedCodeRED is a high speed notification system currently being used by Mohave County, Arizona  to dispurse emergency information and critical community alerts like active shooter incidents, missing children, and evac warnings.

If you are interested in receiving the alert, you can register your contact information by going to https://public.coderedweb.com/cne/BF06DA57F62C. Those without internet access can call the Mohave County Division of Emergency Management at 928-757-0930, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  You will be asked for first and last name, full address and primary phone number. You can also add additional numbers and email addresses if you need to.

“Residents should not assume that emergency officials have their contact information, particularly since cell phone numbers are not associated with specific addresses,” says Byron Steward, Mohave County Emergency Management Coordinator.

For more information or if you have any questions, contact  Steward at 928-757-0930 or through email at byron.steward@mohavecounty.us
